Course is part of the Technology Business Module.
Introduction: a brief refresher course of the major concepts in marketing, links between marketing and other business functions in a company, the core issue - how to formulate marketing strategies.
Analysis of marketing activities: basic steps of market research projects, major issues of customers? decision-making processes, segmentation, special issues of international marketing.
Pricing and promotion: pricing methods, strategies for making promotion, advertising and sales support, personal selling.

The study period focuses on the analyzing, planning and implementing operations in industrial marketing. Students will acquire comprehensive views to combine marketing activities to strategic planning, international operations, product development, quality management and logistic operations. Students will also obtain skills to make market research projects and marketing plans. Furthermore, students will know the basis of personal selling and they will have major skills to put pricing methods in practice.
