Course-description in terms of Technology Business module:

· Characteristics of Entrepreneurs and Intrapreneurs in internal projects.
· Change and Business planning financial and risk issues in SME?s

· Becoming an Entrepreneur
· Company Interpreneurship
· Developing Team and the process of team work

Course-description in terms of International Business Skills for Knowledge Related Industry Module:

The programme of 7 modules (to be split between Period 3 and Four so that a on going project can be completed) covers important aspects of launching a business from initial idea to growth and international expansion. It has been designed by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. It therefore integrates academic concepts with a very practical results-oriented approach.

Objectives in terms of Technology Business module:

The student will get a understanding in the significance of the entrepreneurship mindset and intrapreneurs in internal company projects. The student will be able to assess and develop characteristics required by Entrpreneurship and will learn the principles of business planning and management to create ones own workable business plans. Exercises to develop the students managerial competencies will be stressed.


Course objectives in terms of International Business Skills for Knowledge Related Industry Module:

The objective of the study period is designed to give the necessary management background of what is involved in creating a new enterprise. The course focuses on the specific aspects of starting a technology based company. It is intended for participants who are seriously considering entrepreneurship as a career option.
A highly focussed teaching methodology combines relevant concepts with concrete entrepreneurial illustrations and checklists. Sessions are structured in a mix of focused expert input, individual and group exercises, class discussion. The team also encourages individual coaching, feedback and support after and during the sessions.

Evaluation in International Business Skills for Knowledge Related Industry Module:
Participants are required to do individual as well as group homework and to handle a consulting mission for a real high-tech company, recommending concrete improvements to its management. This is a strong part of the overall assessment.

The course addresses two kind of skills requested to start a high tech company which are divided into personal skills (entrepreneur skills) and those to start a company (Start-up skills)
