User ID
Students will receive personal user ID to access IT services, such as email and home directories.

HelpDesk
IT administration is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the hardware. Malfunction reports should be sent to helpdesk@evtek.fi.
The course teachers will instruct in the use of the software.

Computer Rooms
Computer hardware is at least Pentium III / G4 level. Operating systems are Windows2000, Windows XP or MacOsX where the basic software is at least Office 2000 professional package. List of the programmes in computer classrooms is at http://support.evtek.fi.
