Student Exchange Destinations

Each field of study has its own bilateral agreements with foreign institutions of higher education.

When planning an exchange period you should

  • investigate the selection of institutions in your field of study
  • find out which countries and/or partner institutions might be of interest to you
  • check whether a particular institution offers courses related to your Degree Programmes
  • find out the language of instruction of the courses are held in to know if your language skills match the requirements
  • take into consideration the different dates for semesters in different countries and in different host institutions as that may influence your study planning in Finland before and after the student exchange.
  • check whether you are eligible to apply for the student exchange programme
    > A student applying for the Erasmus programme must be a citizen of an EU Member State or a citizen of another participating country of the Lifelong Learning Programme. The list of the country-participants of the Lifelong Learning Programme is available through the website of the programme .

Through the following links you can find the lists of the partner institutions of each study field.
