Double Degree

Institute of Technology (EVTEK)

Institute of Technology has bilateral agreements with Fachhochschule Osnabrück (Germany) and Seoul National University of Technology (South-Korea) in the field of technology that allows to take a double degree. The students of Information Technology, Media Engineering and Information Technology (in Finnish) Degree Programmes have the option to apply for taking a double degree at these two partner institutions. You can apply with the reference of the Director of your Degree Programme. It is recommended that you have 180 ECTS credits completed and only one year of study left when applying. You will get 60 ECTS credits in one year, which means that you will finish your studies. The home institution approves the degree, including the practical training, first and the host institution only after that. The language of instruction in Osnabrück is German and English in Soul.

School of Business Administration (EVTEK)

School of Business Administration has more than ten years of experience in organising international degree programmes. The European Business Administration programme was started as early as 1993 with the Dutch vocational university, Hogeschool Holland. The European Business Administration programme has also been conducted with the British University of Wolverhampton since 1998. The EBA programmes are so called sandwich programmes which means that the first, the second and the fourth year of study are full time studies while the third year is dedicated to practical training. The teaching is in English.

The European Management Degree Program (EM) is a double degree with a British university, University of Lincoln. The first two years of the EM Programme are spent studying in Finland, the third year at the University of Lincoln and the fourth year is allocated for practical training and  writing the Bachelor`s thesis. English if the main teaching language, however some of the courses are in Finnish.

Once a student has completed studies for the international double degree he will receive the Finnish Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and the corresponding business administration degree from the partner university, the Dutch Bachelor of Economics, or the British Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree.
